Paintings, drawings, printed artwork and photographs, and sculptural works are acceptable. Installations, video, sound, projection or performance art do not qualify for entry.

Artwork 1 Dimensions (in cm) *

Maximum accepted size for wall-based works must not exceed 1 metre squared (including frame). Sculptural works must fit within a 60cm x 60cm sq floor space and be freestanding.

Artwork 1 Price *

Price must include 30% gallery commission fee. Set price as 0 for artwork that will not be available for sale.

Artist Statement 1 *

A statement about your artwork and how it related to the 2018 theme: LURE OF THE LOCAL. The judges will read this carefully when reviewing the entries so be clear and concise! This may be used in promotional material to describe your work. Maximum 200 words.

Maximum 200 words. A short biography about you. This may be used in promotional material alongside your work.

Artwork 1 Images *

Include multiple images by holding down shift or command/control when selecting files to include up to 3 images per entry.
Your submission will be judged by the photos you attach to your entry, so ensure your images are high quality and clearly show your work.

Image requirements

Images must be high-resolution JPEGs, minimum 1800px width or height. All images must be over 200KB and under 3MB (3,000KB) in file size. Please ensure all images are attached (ie your browser has finished loading) before proceeding to the next page of the form.

Artwork must be delivered to The Front Gallery in Lyneham (ready to install/hang) on Monday 12th November 2018 and must be collected (unless sold) on Monday 10th December 2018.

You’re almost done! The final step is to pay your entry fee. This enables us to continue running the prize (our team are all volunteers – websites, booze and exhibition spaces cost money!), plus it also allows every artist to receive a copy of the Inner North Art Prize catalogue – a fantastic printed and published record of all entries received for the prize this year. Entry fees for 2018 are $25 (one entry) or $45 (two entries). This fee is compulsory and non-refundable. You will be redirected to PayPal to make payment via credit card / Paypal account once you press ‘Submit’ below. Entries will not be accepted without completing payment.

Important 2018 Info!

Maximum of 2 entries is permitted per artist.
Entry fee is $25 (1 entry) or $45 (two entries) – payment is made via PayPal/credit card at the end of the form.
Artwork must be the original work of the artist and have been completed in the past 12 months prior to the exhibition.
Artist must live, work or study in the Inner North region of Canberra.
