Early space explorers crossed the ultimate physical and metaphysical boundary when they left earth. Neil Armstrong crowned their achievements when he became the first human to set foot on another celestial body. This piece is from a series that uses NASA and National Geographic images to document Armstrong’s life. It shows Armstrong during early NASA training.

I grew up in the inner-north back when people used to park their semis on the lawn and have lived, worked and/or studied in every inner-north suburb except Campbell. I use 2602 as an adjective for good things.
